  1. Do we want this person, team, and/or company as a customer?
  2. Is the customer willing to do a deal with us?
  3. What are the customers conditions for closing?
  4. Can we meet the customers conditions for closing?
  5. What are our conditions for closing?
  6. Is the customer willing to meet our conditions for closing?
  7. Deal terms are agreed upon and a deal gets signed.
  8. The initial deliverables are delivered thereby executing the contract, and it could just as soon be a signed contract promising to do something in the future, as well as the customer wiring over the initial funds
